Tomorrow I fly out of Newark Airport for my 16 night Euro Trip. I’m going to 4 countries and 6 cities (Berlin, Budapest, Lisbon, Porto, Barcelona and Madrid). I decided to share what I have packed for this trip.
Tourism is a huge industry throughout the world and countries across the world want people to come into their country to experience their culture and of course, spend their money. With this being said, there are airlines that are being used to entice travelers to choose their country as a possible country to visit by offering great layover programs. A layover program is essentially giving you the ability to pick an ultimate destination but mid travel you will have a layover in a different country for 24 hours or longer. This idea is to give you the opportunity to tour the country and then fly to your destination.

If you asked me years ago would I be interested in paying money to sleep in a room with strangers in bunk-beds, I would have said “Hell No”. Maybe it’s the American in me that immediately is suspicious of strangers especially people in a different country. Maybe it’s the constant reminder from people of the horror movie “Hostel”. It’s been over a year of traveling and my experiences have been life changing for me. I’ve met so many people and I told myself that I’ll do my best to keep those relationships no matter where they may be from. While I was in Munich, one of the cool people I met was a guy named Ruben from Amsterdam. He mentioned he never went to Berlin so when I proposed the idea of partying in Berlin for the weekend, he was game.
Of course while I’m in Europe, I want to see other places. I recently found out that I had more time off I can use this year…so I decided to do another 16 night bounce around Europe like I did last year.
